The Vancouver Children’s Chorus is a vibrant new choir in Vancouver, WA, welcoming young singers ages 5-12. Our mission is to inspire a love of music, nurture vocal development, and create a supportive community where children can grow through song. Through engaging rehearsals and uplifting performances, we aim to instill confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong appreciation for choral music. Janet Lindsley - Director

Janet Lindsley is a passionate musician, educator, and performer with a rich background in choral direction, vocal performance, and accompaniment. As the former director of the Vancouver Girls Choir and an accompanist for numerous local schools, she has inspired young musicians and nurtured a love of choral singing in her community. Janet has also performed with the Portland Opera Chorus and various musical theater companies, showcasing her versatility as a vocalist. With 23 years of experience as a dedicated voice and piano teacher, she continues to share her expertise while performing with The Juleps, an Andrews Sisters-style swing harmony group. Her lifelong dedication to music reflects both her love for the art and her commitment to fostering musical excellence in others.
